Dr. Bluhm, a native of San Antonio, began
the practice Footprints Podiatric Medicine and Surgery following a
six year study of medicine.
He graduated from Central Catholic High School and earned a
Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Saint Edward's
University in Austin, Texas. He was given the Who's Who Among
Students in American Colleges and Universities award.
He attended medical school at Des Moines University, College of
Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, Iowa, receiving the Diabetic
Research Award, and publishing lab research on Verrucae
plantaris.
Dr. Bluhm continued his training in two residencies: the first a
Primary Podiatric Medical Residency at the Coatesville Veterans
Administration Medical Center in Pennsylvania under Drs. R. Daryl
Phillips, DPM and Warren Joseph, DPM.
The second, as Chief Surgical Resident at Saint Luke's Medical
Center in Phoenix, Arizona directed by Kerry Zang, DPM.
Dr. Bluhm was appointed as Co-chair for the
American Diabetes Association for the upcoming Diabetic Expo in San
Antonio, April 14, 2007.
Dr. Bluhm's goals are to eliminate pain, regain strength and
flexibility, and promote healing and good health.
